Nicole studied Jazz, Tap, Character, Contemporary, and Neo-Classical dancing for nearly 30 years from 1978 – completing grading exams most years (all successfully, many with honours).

Over 2003 to 2005 Nicole completed her Dance Teaching Diplomas with Honours, qualifying under TAAD (Teachers of the Australian Academy of Dance), gaining both her Tap Diploma and Theatrical Diploma.

From 2005 to 2012 Nicole owned and operated TOP HAT Dance Academy, where she…

  • was the Principal Dance Teacher and taught weekly classes for students aged from 3yo to 60+yo.
  • coordinated all performance and management aspects of the school and the yearly Concert (including multiple teaching and concert venues)
  • taught all of the choreography
  • co-ordinated all costuming
  • made all of the musical choices, including working choreography into specific cuts

From 2012 Nicole has continued pursuing her passion of dancing and choreography, having choreographed a number of Theatre/Musical productions, including:

  • Choreographer for Star Players Theatre Company
  • Choreographer for Production of ALADDIN for Nazareth Secondary College
  • Choreographer for Production of NIGHT AT THE MOVIES for Eastwood Primary School
